The University of Sunderland’s Big Band will show they’ve got big hearts next Saturday (December 2) when they play a special concert in support of the Grace House Hospice Appeal.
The University Big Band has joined forces with the South Shields Charity Singers for the special concert featuring classic big band music from the 30s and 40s. Tickets cost £5 all of which goes to the Grace House Hospice Appeal.
The Grace House Hospice appeal is a Sunderland-based charity aiming to raise £5m to build a home for sick children in the North East. The region has the lowest number of hospice beds for children in the UK - 14 beds for 1,200 families.
The Big Band charity concert is at Manor Quay student nightclub on Saturday December 2 from 7pm. Tickets cost £5 and are available from Andrew Beales on 0191 515 3664.
